Artist Statement
A child of technology sees the empathic possibilities of the digital realm to bring us together. If we can understand each other, how we cope and our identities, we can connect and move.
The human condition of everyday life in our current society is what I capture.
In addition, I believe everyone is an artist for the reason that we all possess the ability to be creative.
We are all artists, but not everyone will create an artwork when I give them a blank canvas.
I am an artist because I have a brain and/or soul and I use those creatively to make inventions.
Everyone makes inventions, one of the major inventions we all make every day are meanings.
An invention can be a meaning, a dream, a word or phrase, an artwork such as a painting or sculpture, a cure, technology, a brand, etc.
Therefore, we all make inventions and we’re all artists.

Born. 1995, Netherlands
University. Hanze University of Applied Sciences
Autonomous Fine Arts, Class of 2020
I’m an artist who grew up in the Netherlands and also spent a considerable amount of time living in South Korea (Seoul) and the United States.
As someone who likes learning new things I don’t work in one specific medium. Rather, I prefer starting my work from an idea and exploring which medium fits it. As a result I have worked with many different materials but through my love for computers and the internet my work has come to often find its final form in the digital realm.
Some of the key words of my work are: Human condition, empathy, connection, coping, identity.
